Xenstats sp. z o.o. is a specialized bioinformatics company providing programming (Python, R and Java), analytical and consulting services for both companies and research centers. We specialize in software and analysis for agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, breeders, biologists, chemists and projects requiring advanced calculations (including high-throughput data processing), artificial intelligence and data visualization. Our team consists of experts in the field of bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, sequencing, statistics, metabolomics, proteomics, pharmacogenetics, clinical drug analysis, molecular biology, plant genetics and others with many years of experience in scientific and educational projects.

To our clients belong nearly 40 institutes and universities in Poland, including the University of Warsaw, the University of Wrocław, the Medical University of Warsaw, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, the Poznań University of Medical Sciences, the Poznań University of Economics and Business, the Medical University of Lublin, the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology PAS, Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS as well as companies implementing projects requiring specialized scientific and programming knowledge.

We also participate in scientific projects where data analysis is necessary, programming work or consultations on issues related to data from scientific experiments. We also prepare descriptions of data analysis for scientific projects submitted to NCN or NCBiR.

We are also involved in educational projects with universities to improve scientific staff in issues related to bioinformatics, specialized data processing and programming in R, Python and Java. Together with UAM in Poznań we are a co-organizer of the Summer School of Bioinformatics for scientists from Poland and abroad.

Several times we had the honor to represent the Polish biotech industry at international pharmaceutical and biotechnology fairs in Dubai, Munich and Milan.

Aneta Sawikowska, Ph.D., D.Sc., Associate Professor

CEO & Founder

Professor at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań, Doctor of Mathematics, scientist, lecturer, and founder of Xenstats. She achieved her postdoctoral degree with the scientific accomplishment titled “Chemometrics in Plant Metabolomics”. Her doctorate was completed under the guidance of the world-renowned mathematician Prof. Charles Johnson (William & Mary, Williamsburg, USA). She has conducted scientific internships at The James Hutton Institute, Dundee, United Kingdom, and Wageningen University & Research, Wageningen, Netherlands. Her extensive experience in data analysis was gained while working as an assistant professor at the Institute of Plant Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, and the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. She is the author of numerous scientific publications in the fields of mathematics, statistical analysis, big data analysis, gene expression level analysis, correlation network analysis, and statistical analysis of metabolomic, proteomic, transcriptomic, phenotypic, and lipid data in plants, often utilizing R and supercomputing. She has been leading a lecture series at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań titled “Artificial Intelligence – New Horizons in Science”. A speaker at many international and national seminars and conferences, including the Poznań R User Group (PAZUR) and the Wrocław R User Association (STWUR), focusing on data analysis and artificial intelligence. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Polish Biometric Society. In 2022-2023, she was a member of the Team for Big Challenges in Chem-Bio-Med at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. From 2020 to 2022, she served as the Special Issue Editor for “Chemometrics in Metabolomics and Proteomics” in the journal “Separations”. She has been repeatedly awarded for her distinguished scientific achievements.
